The Cross on Penitentiary Mountain

We do more than raise meat...actually that's only the fruit of our way of life. We exist to be a light to a world that is surrounded by lack of peace and an lack of acknowledgement of God the Creator. In 2013, the founder of the community behind Old Century Meats erected a 30-foot concrete cross at the peak of Penitentiary Mountain, for the "Soul of America." The mile-long hike is steep, challenging, and rewarding in so many ways. From the top you will overlook the pastures of Old Century Meats...but more importantly you will see, feel and understand the call of our founder and the desire of our hearts to impact your life in more ways than just the food we provide.
